The Bulls have signed second-year point guard Devon Dotson to a qualifying offer, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Dotson, 22, is 6-foot-2 and spent last season on a two-way deal with the Bulls after going undrafted out of Kansas. He played for the Canton Charge of the G League after the Windy City Bulls opted out of the season.
He averaged 2.1 points in 11 appearances as a rookie with the Bulls, and compiled averages of 13.0 points and 5.6 assists in 10 G League games.
Dotson will again be on a two-way deal, making him eligible to appear in 50 NBA games should the Bulls make such a decision. His new contract calls for him to be guaranteed no less than $50,000.
Through three games in the Las Vegas Summer League, Dotson compiled averages of 6.7 points and 3.0 assists.
Meawhile, Chicago still has one avaiulable two-way slot after inking Dotson.
