The Bulls have agreed to a training camp contract with point guard Carlik Jones, according Keith Smith of Spotrac.
Jones, 24, confirmed the news on social media. “Praise God!” he wrote. “The journey continues.”
The deal is for one year and includes “Exhibit 10 language,” per Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors.
Jones is 6-foot-1 and went undrafted out of Louisville in 2021. He spent the first three seasons of his college career at Radford.
He began his pro career with the Texas Legends of the G League, before signing a 10-day contract with the Mavericks in December. With Dallas, he appeared in three games, averaging 6.4 minutes.
Jones then signed 10-day deal with the Nuggets in January, before eventually returning to the Legends.
An Exhibit 10 contract counts toward the offseason roster of 20, but not toward the regular-season roster unless the player is signed to a standard deal. The Bulls currently have 15 players under guaranteed contract.
