The Bulls intend to sign guard Bryce Alford to a training camp contract, according to JD Shaw of Hoops Rumors.
Alford, 26, is 6-foot-3 and is the son of Indiana legend and current Nevada coach Steve Alford. Bryce played college ball for his father at UCLA.
Since then, he has spent time in the G League with the Oklahoma City Blue, as well as served stints in Germany and Portugal.
“The Bulls have two openings on their preseason roster after waiving Daniel Oturu and Ethan Thompson on Monday, so no corresponding move will be necessary to complete the signing of Alford,” noted Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors.
