The Bulls are signing forward/center Jordan Bell to a 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Bell, 26, is 6-foot-8 and has not yet played in the NBA this season. Instead, he has been with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League, averaging 10.8 points and 12.7 rebounds. So if nothing else, he should offer the Bulls a boost on the boards.
Bell has previously spent time in the NBA with the Warriors, Wizards, Grizzlies and Timberwolves, appearing in a total of 160 games and carrying career averages of 3.7 points and 3.1 rebounds.
Chicago currently has four players in health and safety protocols — guard Lonzo Ball, forwards Ersan Ilyasova and Alfonzo McKinnie, and center Tony Bradley.
Bell was originally drafted by the Bulls in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft, before immediately being traded to the Warriors.
