The Cavaliers will hold their annual Wine & Gold Scrimmage on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST.
Admission is free to the public, with tickets currently available at Cavs.com. Each transaction is limited to six tickets. All seating is considered general admission.
Cleveland has made some changes since finishing 22-50 last season and missing the playoffs for a third straight year.
Gone are Larry Nance Jr., Taurean Prince and Matthew Dellavedova. In are Lauri Markkanen, Ricky Rubio and rookie Evan Mobley. So are Collin Sexton, Kevin Love and Cedi Osman following an offseason of trade rumors.
The Cavs open the preseason Tuesday, Oct. 5 at the Bulls. They then visit the Hawks the next night, followed by home dates vs. the Pacers (Oct. 8) and Bulls (Oct. 10), before closing the preseason Oct. 15 at Indiana.
They open the regular season Oct. 20 on the road vs. the Grizzlies.
