CLEVELAND — Not to worry, the Cavaliers will still play 82 games this season despite failing to qualify for the In-Season Tournament knockout round.
And they have officially announced where those games will be and who they will face. (For those who, you know, weren’t awake to read my Dribbles at 2 a.m.)
Anyway, the first game will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6 vs. the Orlando Magic in Cleveland. The other will be on Friday, Dec. 8, at the Miami Heat.
That gives fans at least a week to prepare and make arrangements to either attend or watch either game. So, nice job by the Cavs and NBA in moving quickly on this. Say what you will about the In-Season Tournament, but it was well-organized and has gone smoothly.
Even if people don’t entirely understand why it exists.
