The Cavaliers may not be done dealing yet. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Cavs are one of two teams showing trade interest in Nets guard Cam Thomas ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline.

The Bucks were the other team identified by Scotto.

As Scotto also noted, Thomas is out of Thursday’s game against the Magic for “personal reasons.” That’s the same reason James Harden sat out before the Cavs acquired him from the Clippers in the deal involving Darius Garland.

Anyway, Cavs president of basketball operations Koby Altman has been moving and shaking things up in deadline week, and Thomas makes sense as a potential target.

When healthy and available, he is one of the league’s most underrated scorers. As one scout told Hoops Wire, Thomas “is just a guy who gets buckets.”

Thomas, 24, is 6-foot-3 and has appeared in 24 games this season, averaging 15.6 points and shooting 40 percent from the field. He has a very tradeable contract, signing a one-year qualifying offer for about $6 million before the season.

He averaged 24.0 points in just 24 games last season, and 22.5 points in 66 games the season before that.

Milwaukee is still figuring out if it can find a workable deal centered on star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo ahead of Thursday’s deadline to make a deal.

Meanwhile, along with Harden, the Cavs acquired guard Dennis Schroder and wing Keon Ellis on Sunday in a trade that sent De’Andre Hunter to the Kings.
