1. Cavs have played pretty well in their playoff rematch vs. the Knicks. But again, without Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen, don’t know if they have enough to win the game.
2. Donovan Mitchell, of course, has returned to offer plenty of hope. Scoring 14 points in the 2Q (for 20 overall). Some of his buckets are downright amazing.
3. You also really have to like what you’ve seen from athletic rookie point guard Craig Porter Jr., who recorded an underrated six points, three rebounds and a block in eight minutes.
4. Evan Mobley (2 points, 8 rebounds), oh how the Cavs need you to score.
5. Not a fan of the NBA rule that doesn’t allow you to have some fun or hang on the rim after a dunk. Tristan Thompson was the latest to get T’d up for it. What’s the point?
6. I also agreed with Thompson when he declared on the Jumbotron that a simple Hershey chocolate bar is the best Halloween candy of them all.
