The Cavaliers are looking to build off an inspiring season, and the fun all begins in early October. Or at least, the exhibition portion of it does.
On Thursday, the Cavs released a four-game preseason schedule. It tips off on the road against the 76ers on on Oct. 5. They will then host the Sixers on Oct. 10, followed by the Hawks on Oct. 12.
After that, they wrap up the preseason with a game with a visit to the Magic and No. 1 overall pick Paolo Banchero on Oct. 14.
Cleveland is coming off a 44-38 season in which it finished with the eighth-best record in the Eastern Conference. That was its best finish without LeBron James since 1998.
