The Cavaliers have agreed to a two-year, $5 million contract with shooting guard Ty Jerome, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Jerome, 25, is 6-foot-5 and averaged 6.9 points and the Warriors, shooting 39 percent on 3-pointers in 41 games. Jerome actually had a big game when the Warriors came to Cleveland and won without all their stars this past season.
Now, he is expected to add depth and outside shooting to a Cavaliers backcourt that also consists of Jerome will add depth to a Cleveland backcourt that features Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Ricky Rubio.
Along with Jerome, the Cavs have added center Damian Jones and forward Max Strus and Georges Niang in free agency.
