Free agent center Enes Kanter has agreed to a one-year contract with the Celtics, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Kanter, 29, is 6-foot-10 and spent last season with the Trail Blazers, averaging 11.2 points and 11.0 rebounds while appearing in all 72 games. He was with Boston in 2019-20, so this marks a return for the well-traveled big man.
He has also spent time with the Knicks, Thunder and Jazz, providing huste and passionate physical play at every stop.

The Celtics added veteran forward/center Al Horford in an offseason trade, and between Horford, Kanter and Robert Williams III, they should be pretty well set in the middle.
Kanter has perhaps had the most interesting journey of most, going from the Blazers in 2018-19, to the Celtics in 2019-20, to the Blazers last season and now back to the Celtics.
