The 10-day contracts of Celtics power forward Malik Fitts and small forward Kelan Martin have expired and both players will re-enter free agency, per the NBA’s transactions log.
Fitts, 24, is 6-foot-8 and appeared in two games with the Celtics. He also played seven games for the Jazz after playing three for the Clippers as a rookie last season.
His latest deal was his second 10-day with the Celtics, so they either had to sign him for the rest of the year or allow him to become a free agent.
Martin, 26, is 6-5 and has also bounced around a bit. He played three games with the Celtics but appeared in 27 earlier this season with the Pacers, averaging 6.3 points and 2.0 rebounds.
Martin also played 35 games with the Pacers last season and 31 with the Timberwolves as a rookie in 2019-20. The Pacers waived him in January, when he signed the first of his two 10-day deals with Boston.
