Free agent guard/forward Anthony Brown will work out for the Celtics this week, according to Ennio Terrasi Borghesan of Sportando.
Brown, 28, is 6-foot-7 and was selected by the Lakers in the second round (No. 34 overall) of the 2015 draft.
He spent last season with French club Boulogne-Levallois, averaging 12.1 points in the French league and 14.6 points in EuroCup play.
Along with the Lakers, Brown has spent time with the Pelicans, Magic and Timberwolves, as well as in the G League. He has played internationally in Spain, Serbia and France.
Brown played college basketball at Stanford and last appeared in the NBA in 2017-18, when he played one game with Minnesota. He carries NBA career averages of 3.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 41 total games.
The Celtics have an array of talented wings already, beginning with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
