Clippers star forward Kawhi Leonard will miss Game 4 of the first-round series vs. the Suns with his right knee sprain, marking the second straight game in which he’ll be sidelined.
Phoenix leads the best-of-seven series by a 2-1 count, with Game 4 set for a Saturday night in LA.
Leonard remains day-to-day moving forward.
The Clippers have already been playing without forward Paul George, who is expected to miss the entire series. George also has a sprained right knee.
While LA have a valiant effort in Game 3, the absence of it’s top two scorers proved too much to overcome. Leonard is averaging an NBA playoff-high 34.5 points in his two appearances.
