The Clippers have signed guard/forward James Ennis to a 10-day contract via the hardship exception, the team announced.
Ennis, 31, is 6-foot-6 and signed a 10-day deal with the Nets earlier this month. The Nets opted not to extend a second 10-day offer after Kevin Durant, LaMarcus Aldridge and Kyrie Irving cleared health and safety protocols.
Ennis appeared in two games with Brooklyn after spending the early part of the season unsigned. He played 41 games for the Magic last season, averaging 8.4 points and 4.0 rebounds.
He has also spent time with the 76ers, Rockets, Pistons, Grizzlies, Pelicans and Heat.
The Clippers have three players in the protocol as of this writing.
