The Los Angeles Clippers have signed star forward Kawhi Leonard to a contract extension, the team announced.
The Clippers broke their own news on the arrangement, but did not announce details of the deal.
Leonard, 32, continues to be among the stars on the other side of 30 who continue to dominate the league’s younger players. He has remained relatively healthy this season, averaging 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists, shooting 52 percent from the field and 43 percent on 3-pointers, in 32 games (through Tuesday).
As a result, the Clippers are looking like a true contender as they play their final season at Crypto.com Arena, which they share with the dreaded Lakers.
Hoops Wire will have more as the news becomes available.
