The Clippers have signed power forward Wenyen Gabriel to a 10-day hardship contract, the team announced in a press release.
Gabriel, 26, is 6-foot-9 and coming off a 10-day deal with the Nets. He appeared in one game with Brooklyn. Before that, he had been playing for the Wisconsin Herd of the G League, where he averaged 13.9 points and 8.6 rebounds in 12 appearances.
Last season, he played 21 games with the Pelicans, averaging 3.4 points and 2.6 boards. He has also spent time with the Trail Blazers and Kings.
The Clippers currently have three players in the health and safety protocols. Gabriel becomes their third hardship signing, along with James Ennis and Xavier Moon.
