The Cavaliers will introduce Donovan Mitchell to the media on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the team announced.
Mitchell is a three-time All-Star who was acquired from the Jazz in exchange for Collin Sexton, Lauri Markkanen, rookie Ochai Agbaji, three unprotected first-round picks (2025, 2027 and 2029) and two pick swaps (2026 and 2028).
As Jazz GM Justin Zanik told reporters, the Cavs “gave up a lot.”
But they clearly believe Mitchell will be worth it, as he will now team with fellow All-Stars Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen, as well as All-Rookie member Evan Mobley.
Now, Cleveland will get a chance to hear directly from Mitchell what he hinks about all of that, with training camp just a couple of weeks away.
Along with Mitchell, Cavs president of basketball operations Koby Altman and coach J.B. Bickerstaff are expected to attend.
