The Knicks have worked out several prospects this week, including Kentucky guard and potential lottery pick TyTy Washington, per reports.
Along with Washington, the Knicks took a look at G League Ignite guard Dyson Daniels, per Fred Katz of the Athletic, and Memphis forward Josh Minot, per Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog. Daniels is supposedly climbing the charts and could be another lottery pick, and Zagoria labeled Minot a potential draft steal.
The Knicks own the No. 11 pick and also worked out Ohio State shooting guard Malaki Branham, per Ian Begley of SNY.tv. Branham who hails from the same high school as LeBron James (Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary). As we relayed previously, he also has a workout scheduled with the Cavaliers.
Other Workouts
- Notre Dame forward Paul Atkinson will work out for the Nets this week, per Zagoria. Atkinson was the 2020 Ivy League Player of the Year while at Yale. He has also worked out for the Lakers.
- Memphis shooting guard Lester Quinones is working out for both the Knicks and Nets, per Jake Wingartern of StockRisers. Quinones worked out previously for the Warriors and Lakers.
- In fact, the Lakers held a group workout on Monday, as relayed by Jovan Buha of The Athletic. Those taking part: Kansas point guard Remy Martin, UCLA small forward Johnny Juzang, Villanova small forward Jermaine Samuels, Georgia Tech guard Michael Devoe, Louisiana Tech center/forward Kenneth Lofton Jr. and Guo Haowen, a 6-foot-8 guard from the Shanghai Sharks.
