If you’ve been reading me for a while, you know I’ve been writing Dribbles after Cavs games for a long time.
It started as a fun way to share what I saw, what I heard, and what I thought. It’s part column, part notebook, part therapy session.
These days, though, the grind is different. The site’s bigger. The league is bigger. Hoops Wire isn’t just about one team anymore, and that’s a good thing.
It’s become a place for everything — news, notes, rumors, and whatever else pops up across 30 teams.
That doesn’t mean Dribbles are gone for good. I’ll still write them when I feel like I have something to say.
But it won’t be after every game, and it won’t always be right away. Sometimes, the league moves too fast to stay locked on one court.
So, if you notice fewer Dribbles and more NBA Notes, that’s by design. The mission’s the same — give you something quick, clear, and real.
Only now, it’s not just Cleveland. It’s everywhere.
And honestly, I like this version of the job. It’s more fun. It’s less grind.
It feels like Hoops Wire has finally found its voice, and it sounds a lot like the one I’ve been chasing all along.
