Raptors
- The Raptors once again are being regularly mentioned in trade rumors, with forward Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby being mentioned most. The Kings, Hawks and Pacers are believed to be three teams with interest.
- Toronto reportedly is at least partially open to trading those two, as well as guard/forward Gary Trent Jr. At least, that’s the belief around the NBA heading into the January and February trade season. Of course, it’s been that way for a while now.
- According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Raptors have eyes for Kings forward Keegan Murray “in exchange for either of their talented forwards.” But Fischer added that Murray “would seem too rich a price for Sacramento, as Kings officials have spoken of Murray as a critical swing piece in their lineup …”
- Sources told Hoops Wire they expect multiple teams will reach out to the Raptors within the next month Anunoby.
Hawks
- Atlanta has gotten off to one of the more disappointing starts this season, meaning another potential shakeup could be on the way. Along with the Siakam and Anunoby, the Hawks are likely to reach out to the Jazz to see what the price is for Lauri Markkanen and some of their other available players. That said, Utah is not actively looking to trade Markkanen and would want a large haul in return, sources said.
Pacers
- Backup point guard T.J. McConnell is drawing trade interest from playoff teams, Fischer reported. Sources told Hoops Wire those teams include the Heat, Suns and Warriors.
- Center Jalen Smith is currently out with a heel injury but has been drawing interest from several teams that seem to believe he could be had for cheap, sources said. The Mavericks and Knicks have been mentioned as teams with interest.
