Free agent center Eric Moreland has agreed to a contract with the Liaoning Flying Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association, as relayed by Eurobasket.
Moreland, 29, is 6-foot-10 and has spent time in the NBA with the Raptors, Suns, Pistons and Kings, as well as with the Reno Bighorns and Canton Charge of the G League. He played for the Hawks in the most recent Las Vegas summer league.
His best NBA season came in 2017-18, when he appeared in 67 games with Detroit. He carries career averages of 1.9 points and 3.7 rebounds. He has spent time with the Shanxi Loongs of the CBA.
Moreland also owns a championship ring as a member of the 2019 Raptors, appearing in eight playoff games that season.
