The deal reached between the Timberwolves and power forward Eric Paschall is a two-way contract, per Darren Wolfson of KSTP-TV.
Paschall, 25, is 6-foot-6 and has played three NBA seasons, including last year with the Jazz. He was with the Warriors for two years before that.
In 2021-22, Paschall appeared in 58 games with Utah, averaging 5.8 points and shooting 49 percent from the field. He carries career averages of 9.8 points and 3.2 rebounds.
In Minnesota, he will be joining a frontcourt that includes the likes of Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, Kyle Anderson, Taurean Prince, Jaden McDaniels and Naz Reid.
A two-way contract allows players to appear in up to 50 NBA games, spending the rest of their time with the G League affiliate. Beyond 50 appearances, they must be signed to a standard deal.
