Former Lakers small forward Anthony Brown has agreed to a contract with Russian club UNICS Kazan, as relayed by Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype.
Brown, 29, is 6-foot-7 and appeared in 41 NBA games from 2015-18, spending time with the Lakers, Pelicans, Magic and Timberwolves. He carries career averages of 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds.
A product of Stanford, Brown was drafted with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. He has spent plenty of time overseas and has served stints in the G League, playing for Maccabi Rishon LeZion of Israel last season.
UNICS Kazan’s roster has also recently featured NBA free agents such as Lorenzo Brown, John Brown and O.J. Mayo.
