Free agent guard Erick Green is signing with Greek club AEK Athens, according to Christos Tsaltas of SDNA.
Green, 30, is 6-foot-3 and plays both backcourt positions. He played for the Nuggets from 2014-16, then appeared in six games with the Jazz in 2016-17.
He has also spent time with the Reno Bighorns and Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the G League, as well as overseas, with stops in Turkey, Spain, Greece, China and Italy.
He was originally drafted out of Virginia Tech by the Jazz in the second round (No. 46 overall) in 2013. His rights were immediately traded to Denver.
“(Green) averaged 21.3 points, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game in the last Eurocup with Bahcesehir Koleji,” wrote Dario Skerletic of Sportando.
