The University of Florida is hiring San Francisco’s Todd Golden as coach, according to multiple reports, including Matt Norlander of CBS Sports.
Golden will receive a six-year contract, Norlander added.
Golden and the Dons are coming off a fine season, losing to Murray State in overtime in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. It marked the Dons’ first tourney appearance in 24 years.
Golden compiled a 57-36 overall record at San Francisco. He will replace Mike White, who left Florida on March 13 to replace Tom Crean at Georgia.
