Free agent power forward Malcolm Thomas has agreed to a contract with Turkish club Petkimspor, SLASH Sports agency told Nicola Lupo of Sportando.
The deal is a “short-term” contract for just 1.5 months, Lupo relayed.
Thomas, 33, is 6-foot-9 and played in the NBA from 2011-15 with the Spurs, Warriors, Bulls, Jazz and 76ers. He also spent time in the G League, as well as Spain, Israel, Russia, Puerto Rico, China and Turkey.

“Thomas played last season in Spain with Unicaja Malaga, averaging around six points and four rebounds per game since joining the team,” Lupo wrote. “He has spent several years in the EuroLeague with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Khimki Moscow, Fenerbahce and Bayern Munich.”
Undrafted by the NBA out of San Diego State in 2011, Thomas carries career averages of 1.9 points and 2.4 rebounds.
