The Cleveland Charge of the G League will hold open tryouts Sept. 25 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, home of the Cavaliers, the team announced in a press release.
The Charge are the Cavs’ affiliate and in their first year in Cleveland after a decade of playing home games in Canton.
Tryouts will be held from 2:30-5 p.m. and are closed to the general public. It is open to the first 40 G League eligible players who complete the registration process, including being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
A maximum of four players from the tryout are eligible to earn an invite to Charge’s training camp without having to declare for the 2021 NBA G League Draft, the team announced.

The Charge will play home games at Cleveland State’s Wolstein Center starting with the 2021-22 season.
