The Grizzlies have signed center/forward Killian Tillie to a two-way contract, the team announced in a press release.
Tillie, 23, is 6-foot-9 and went undrafted out of Gonzaga in 2020. He spent last season on a two-way deal with Memphis as well.
Appearing in 18 games, Tilliie compiled averages of 3.2 points and 1.3 rebounds.
Chris Herrington of the Daily Memphian wrote that he was “slightly surprised” by the move. “Assumed he’d be back, but thought he might have been pulled up to main roster,” Herrington wrote.
Either way, Tillie will continue to make his case to be a part of a Grizzlies big man rotation that includes the likes of Jaren Jackson Jr., Xavier Tillman, Brandon Clarke and newcomer Steven Adams.
