Guard/forward Dillon Brooks believes if the Grizzlies can display the same determination that they showed in Tuesday’s win over the Rockets, they should be OK moving forward.
“That should never die,” Brooks told reporters. “The energy every single game, every single day at practice. …We should never lack energy.”
Memphis (7-7) was able to snap a three-game losing streak, but even with that, coach Taylor Jenkins said it’s not time to get too high or too low.
“It’s way too early. Natural early season struggles,” Jenkins said. “Our guys have been through this before. Obviously, you don’t want to go through this. I’d rather do (this) early in the season.”
