The Grizzlies have signed forward Brandon Clarke to a contract extension, the team announced in a press release.
The deal is for four years and $52 million, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Clarke, 26, is 6-foot-8 and averaged 10.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in 64 games last season, proving to be a nice complement off the bench to the likes of startering point guard Ja Morant, forward Dillon Brooks and shooting guard Desmond Bane.
The Grizzlies have now reached extensions on rookie contracts with Clarke, Morant and power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. They also signed center Steven Adams and guard John Konchar to veteran deals this offseason.
Jackson will be sidelined to start the season, opening the door for Clarke to play an even larger role.
