The Grizzlies have signed guard/forward Sean McDermott and forward Matthew Hurt, the team announced in a press release.
Along with those moves, the Grizzlies waived guard Jacob Gilyard and forward Justin Bean.

McDermott, 24, is 6-foot-6 and actually appeared in 18 games with the Grizzlies as a rookie on a two-way contract in 2020-21, averaging 2.2 points. Memphis brought him back last September before waiving him prior to the start of the season.
Hurt, 22, is 6-9 and went undrafted out of Duke in 2021. He spent last season with the Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies’ G League affiliate.
The Grizzlies’ camp roster stands at the league limit of 20, with 16 players under standard contract.
