The Hawks may not be done making moves after trading Cam Reddish to the Knicks, and that is something general manager Travis Schlenk admitted following the deal.
Interestingly, the Hawks have mostly soared since the trade, riding a five-game winning streak at this writing. But again, a tweak or two could be on the way.
Per Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Hawks names to watch are John Collins, Danilo Gallinari and Bogdan Bogdanovic.
The Hawks have been in on the trade talks for available 76ers star Ben Simmons, and Collins, Gallinari and Bogdanovic have all been a part of those, Fischer reported.
Here’s more from Fischer on Atlanta:
- It appears the Hawks are seeking a “valuable” first-round pick and a starter in return for Collins. Fischer’s use of the word “valuable” there makes you think the Hawks would want a lottery pick (Nos. 1-14).
- The Spurs and Mavericks have are among those pursuing Collins, Fischer wrote. Atlanta has reached out to San Antonio about shooting guard Derrick White, though there’s no mention on if Collins was part of those talks.
- Pistons forward Jerami Grant is believed to be widely available, and you can add the Hawks to the teams with interest, per Fischer. Grant is believed to be “a primary trade target” for the Hawks ahead of the Feb. 10 deadline.
