Heat guard Tyler Herro is expected to miss four-to-six weeks after suffering broken fingers on his shooting hand in Sunday’s Game 1 upset of the Bucks, per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report/TNT.
Herro broke the ring and middle finger on his hand, Haynes reported,
Coach Erik Spoelstra later confirmed that Herro will indeed miss the remainder of the playoffs.
Clearly, it’s a big loss for the Heat, spoiling an otherwise bright day of beating the Eastern Conference’s top seed on its own home floor. Herro suffered the injury while diving for a loose ball in the second quarter.
Last season’s Sixth Man of the Year, Herro started 67 games this year and averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists.
