Free agent center Isaiah Hartenstein is drawing interest from the Clippers and Trail Blazers, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Hartenstein, 23, is 7-0 and recently held a workout in front of several teams. The Cavaliers were among the attendees, but it is not known if the Clippers or Blazers were represented.
He declined his player option of about $1.8 million earlier this summer after playing the best basketball of his career with the Cavs, following a March trade with the Nuggets. But it remains to be seen if he will earn that money on the market.
In Cleveland, he averaged 8.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in 16 games, admirably relieving center Jarrett Allen when called upon. Hartenstein finished the season on the injured list.
The Blazers have already added the likes of Dennis Smith Jr., Harry Giles and Marquese Chriss to their camp roster, and have also been linked to Michael Beasley, Patrick Patterson and James Ennis.
