The Clippers have reached agreement on a training camp contract with free agent center Isaiah Hartenstein, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Hartenstein, 23, is 7-0 and had been linked to the Clippers, Nets and Trail Blazers after finishing last season with the Cavaliers.
He declined his player option of about $1.8 million earlier this offseason after playing the best basketball of his career with the Cavs, following as trade with the Nuggets in March.
In Cleveland, he averaged 8.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in 16 games, admirably relieving center Jarrett Allen when called upon. Hartenstein finished the season on the injured list.
Meanwhile, the Clippers have 14 guaranteed contracts entering training camp, as well as one of two available two-way spots.
Ivica Zubac, Serge Ibaka and Marcus Morris are currently their main bigs, so Hartenstein may have a shot to stick.
