The Nets have reached agreement on a one-year contract with forward James Johnson, agent Mark Bartelstein told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Johnson, 34, is 6-foot-7 and spent last season with the Mavericks and Pelicans, appearing in 51 total games and averaging 7.2 points and 3.5 rebounds.
He will give the Nets another veteran frontcourt presence off the bench, helping to serve as a backup to starters Kevin Durant and Joe Harris.
Johnson has been a joureyman of sorts, as the Nets have become his ninth team. Along with the Mavs and Pelicans, he has served two stints with the Raptors, as well as one apiece with the Bulls, Kings, Heat, Grizzlies and Timberwolves,
