The Jazz are signing center Micah Potter to a two-way contract, per Shams Charania and Tony Jones of The Athletic.
Potter, 24, is 6-foot-10 and made his NBA debut on the first day of the year after signing a 10-day contract with the Pistons. He appeared in three games last season after being named an All-G League first-teamer.
A native of Mentor, Ohio, his college career started at Ohio State before transferring to Wisconsin. He signed with the Heat before last season, was waived shortly thereafter, and spent most of the year with the G League’s Sioux Falls Skyforce.
In 33 G League games, Potter averaged 17.2 points and 9.8 rebounds. He played for the Knicks in summer league following the season.
Earlier in the day, it was revealed the Jazz were also signing veteran center Cody Zeller to a training camp deal.
