The Jazz have waived two-way shooting guard Josh Christopher, the team announced in a press release.
Christopher, 22, is 6-foot-5 and signed his two-way deal with the Jazz in mid-October. He has not appeared in an NBA game this season.
He spent each of the last two years with the Rockets, appearing in 64 games last season and averaging 5.8 points on 47 percent shooting.
Originally drafted by Houston with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Christopher was traded to the Grizzlies as part of a five-team deal in July. Memphis waived him in September.
The Jazz will now have an available two-way spot that they’re expected to fill within the coming days. It has not been determined if Christopher will remain with the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League.
