The Kings are looking to move veteran center Tristan Thompson and it is believed he could be had for a second-round draft pick, per Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report.
Thompson, 30, is 6-foot-9 and is in his first season with the Kings following an offseason trade with the Hawks, who acquired him from the Celtics.
But he has been used just sparingly in Sacramento, appearing in 30 games and averaging 6.2 points and a career-low 5.4 rebounds.
Thompson spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Cavaliers, making four straight trips to the Finals and winning a championship alongside LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in 2016.
He is in the final year of a contract that will pay him about $9.7 million this season.
Along with Thompson, the Kings are looking to make several other moves, as we relayed right here.
The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 10, and multiple league sources have told Hoops Wire they believe Thompson will be moved before then.
