The Kings have officially signed guard Jordan Ford, according to a press release released by the team.
Per Sean Cunningham of KTXL, Ford was signed to an Exhibit 10 deal for training camp.
Ford, 25, is 6-foot-1 and was on Sacramento’s camp roster last year, but was waived before the season. He then started all 32 games in which he played for the Stockton Kings of the G League, averaging 14.7 points and 4.6 assists.
He then appeared in six games for the Kings in the NBA Summer League, averaging 14.2 points and 5.0 assists.
An Exhibit 10 contract counts toward the training camp roster of 21, but not the regular-season roster unless the player is signed to a standard deal.
If Ford is waived before the season, he highly likely will end up back in Stockton. Sacramento also has one two-way deal remaining, and Ford could be in play for that.
