The Knicks have signed point guard Ryan Arcidiacono to a regular 10-day contract two days after the NBA voided a hardship 10-day deal.
The Knicks announced the first deal on Monday — but because they had two players exit health and safety protocols, and released two players, they no longer qualified for a hardship exception.
But teams were able to start signing players to regular 10-day contracts Wednesday, so the Knicks are taking advantage.
Arcidiacono, 27, is 6-foot-3 and spent four seasons with the Bulls, initially signing a two-way contract before having it converted to a standard deal. He entered this past offseason as a free agent and this is his first contract since then.
He most recently has been playing for the Maine Celtics of the G League, where he carries averages of 12.7 points, 8.0 assists and 5.7 rebounds. He averaged 3.1 points in 44 games with the Bulls last season.
The Knicks announced the move in a press release.
