The Knicks could trade a guard or swingman to open up some playing time for new acquisition Cam Reddish, according to Peter Botte of the New York Post.
Reddish has appeared in just two of a possible four games since being acquired from the Hawks. Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau has indicated Reddish isn’t likely to be a part of the regular rotation anytime soon.
However, the Knicks could look to move shooting guard Alec Burks, guard Evan Fournier or point guard Kemba Walker to create some minutes for Reddish, Botte noted.
The Knicks had lost six of seven entering Sunday and may be looking to shake things up a little more.
Walker is expected to be a primary target of rival teams, as he came back strong after being benched for nine games earlier in the season.
It is believed Burks could also be had for relatively cheap, particularly with the emergence of rookie guard Quentin Grimes.
