The Knicks have signed Jalen Harris to a contract ahead of training camp, the team announced.
Harris, 24, is 6-foot-5 and is coming off an NBA ban for violating terms of the anti-drug program. He is likely headed to the Westchester Knicks of the G League.
He was originally drafted by the Raptors with the No. 50 overall pick in 2021, appearing in 13 games and averaging 7.4 points. Last season, he played in Italy and Canada.
Interestingly, the Raptors signed Harris to a qualifying offer this past offseason. The fact he is headed to the Knicks means the Raptors either rescinded the offer or decided not to match.
The Knicks’ roster now stands at 19.
