The Knicks have signed guard Tyler Hall to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.
Hall, 24, is 6-foot-5 and averaging 14.6 points and 4.2 rebounds for the Westchester Knicks of the G League. This is his third straight season with Westchester after going undrafted out of Montana State.
The Knicks currently have six players in health and safety protocols. They used a hardship exception to sign Hall.
The NBA reportedly has a vaccination rate of 97 percent, but like the NFL and NHL, is experiencing a major outbreak of positive tests and players entering protocol. The Associated Press reported Thursday evening that about 8 percent of NBA players were in protocol.
