The Knicks have waived forward Luka Samanic, the team announced in a press release.
Samanic, 22, is 6-foot-10 did not appear in any games for the Knicks but did play for their G League affiliate in Westchester, after signing a two-way contract in October.
In seven games with Westchester, Samanic averaged 28.1 points and 10.0 rebounds.
Originally drafted by the Spurs with the No. 19 overall pick in 2019, Samanic spent his first two NBA seasons in San Antonio, averaging 3.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 36 appearances overall. The Spurs waived him on Oct. 11.
