Free agent guard Kyle Guy has returned to the Cleveland Charge of the G League, the team announced in a release.
Guy, 24, is 6-foot-1 and most recently played for the Heat after signing the first of two 10-day contracts with the team in late December.
He appeared in 19 games overall with Miami, averaging 3.9 points and shooting 35 percent on 3-pointers. He was not retained last week when the Heat decided to sign Michael Mulder instead.
Guy was in training camp with the Cavaliers but was waived before the season. He was then signed by the Charge and appeared in 11 games averaging 21.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists.
He spent the first two years of his NBA career with the Kings after being selected with the 55th pick out of Virginia in 2019.
