The Lakers have announced the signings of undrafted Houston forward Fabian White Jr. and undrafted Boston U. guard/forward Javante McCoy to Exhibit 10 contracts, the team announced in a press release.

White, 23, is 6-foot-8 and spent five seasons at Houston, missing his fourth year with a torn ACL. He bounced back to average 12.5 points and 5.7 rebounds in 38 games in 2021-22.
“It means everything,” he told Mark Berman of Fox 26. “All the work I’ve put in has paid off. (Dealing with) the torn ACL, all the sprints I had to run, it all paid off.”
McCoy is 6-foot-5 and was a member of the All-Patriot League first team. He averaged he averaged 17.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists last season as a senior.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a contract that counts toward the offseason roster limit of 20, but does not count toward the salary cap unless the player makes the team.
