Lakers Star LeBron James Declines To Answer If He’s Healthy

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James continues to decline questions about his health. 

James, who entered the 2025 playoffs with groin and hip issues, only told reporters on Friday that he’s available to play in Game 3 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Lakers and Timberwolves are tied at 1-1. Minnesota won Game 1 and Los Angeles won Game 2. 

James, 40, is averaging 20.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.0 blocks against the Timberwolves through two games. The NBA legend is shooting 43.2% from the field, 20.0% from beyond the arc and a perfect 100.0% from the free-throw line. 

The Lakers need to win Game 3 or 4 to reclaim home-court advantage in the series.
