The Magic have signed point guard Jeff Dowtin to a 10-day contract, the team announced, via RealGM.
With an open roster spot and NBA draft lottery on the horizon, the Magic can afford to add players to audition for next season.
Dowtin, 24, is 6-foot-3 and has appeared in three games this season after signing a 10-day deal with the Warriors and hardship deal with the Bucks.
He has spent most of his time this season with the Lakeland Magic, Orlando’s G League affiliate. In 18 games with Lakeland, Dowtin is averaging 21.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists. He went undrafted out of Rhode Island in 2020.
